PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE
Prior to the workshop:
Sharing of online materials for participants to get comfortable with R Markdown, GitHub, Jupyter Notebook, etc. This would be self-administered, with some Q&A zoom sessions as necessary.
Apr 24: Becoming a Neotoma USER
• Overview of Neotoma, introduction to the “ecosystem”
• What do we want/need from the database?
• R workshop, searching for data, downloading & analysis.
Apr 25: Being an effective Neotoma CONTRIBUTOR
• Data formatting and upload, curating your own datasets.
• GEOTOP SEMINAR 12:30-13:30.
• Small group meetings, one-on-one as necessary.
Apr 26: For those interested in becoming dedicated data stewards.
